I like my hair in this picture.

MissLucyJane (AKA Jenna Lynn Brown and Jenna Jones) is a lifelong reader and decided to be a writer at the age of nine. She grew up in the American West, most of it in northern California, and now lives in Provo, Utah. She attended Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) where she completed an associate's degree in history, and Brigham Young University-Provo, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in humanities and English literature. She particularly enjoyed classes on film as an art form, and so started a graduate degree in film studies. (Didn't finish it due to life happening when you make other plans.)

Lucy started writing fanfiction in childhood, but didn't know other people did too until the mid-nineties. She started posting The X-Files fic in 1997; posting regularly to eager readers helped her learn her craft and improve her skills with characterization, plotting, and pacing. Although she moved on to other fandoms, she will always cherish the stories she wrote and the friends she made through the X-Files.

Lucy published her first original novel in 2007 with Torquere Press, a small press that published LGBTQ+ content. She published another two dozen works of fiction with Torquere until they closed their doors in 2016. She has since gone indie.

Lucy's goal is to bring positive dramatic or romantic stories to the LGBTQ+ community. She loves stories of queer love and queer joy.
